Corus’s national radio sales GM Byron Garby to retire

Corus announced Tuesday Byron Garby, general manager of national radio sales at Corus, is retiring at the end of January. Garby has held the position since joining Corus in 2015. “This marks a long and successful career in advertising spanning over 43 years,” reads Corus’s announcement of his retirement. Garby began his career at advertising agency McCann Erickson as a media buyer, then an account executive, before joining Telemedia Radio Sales and embarking on a 37-year career in the radio sales industry.
