CHCH-TV bringing back live New Year’s Eve special for a second year

CHCH-TV announced Wednesday its live New Year’s Eve special will return to the Hamilton-area channel for a second year, following the success of last year’s debut production. Airing Sunday, Dec. 31 at 11:10 p.m. ET, The Countdown to 2024 special will be produced by Department 86 Productions for CHCH-TV and will be hosted by Canadian TV personality Rick Campanelli. The Hamilton-based production will feature live music and comedy from some of Canada’s biggest acts, filmed in front of a live studio audience at CHCH-TV’s Studio North, according to a press release.
