T+E to premiere Haunted Discoveries during annual Creep Week


TORONTO – Blue Ant Media announced Tuesday its paranormal-focused specialty channel T+E will have the North American premiere of the new series Haunted Discoveries during T+E’s seventh annual “Creep Week” event, which runs from Oct. 6-15.

The eight-episode first season of Haunted Discoveries will debut Friday, Oct. 6 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on T+E.

“Based in Kentucky, IL, Haunted Discoveries begins as a hunt for a paranormal research facility in what is America’s most haunted state and turns into a journey filled with mysterious and heartwarming discoveries for a team of supernatural investigators. The series looks at some of Kentucky’s most jaw-dropping sites and explores whether they might be tied to unique natural anomalies as old as the earth itself, and questions whether the state’s unique history and rich culture might have intensified paranormal activity,” reads a synopsis in a press release.

Other programming scheduled during T+E’s Creep Week includes the season finale of new documentary series History’s Most Haunted on Friday, Oct. 13 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, two new episodes of The Haunting Of on Oct. 6 and 13 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, and new episodes of Ghost Hunters and Celebrity Help! My House Is Haunted on Oct. 11 at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. ET/PT, respectively.

T+E has also scheduled daily programming marathons of fan-favourite shows including Ghost HuntersParanormal Caught on CameraStrange Evidence and Help! My House Is Haunted. In addition, cult-classic films that will air during Creep Week include InsidiousZombielandDracula and Ghostbusters.

T+E is currently in free preview until Nov. 5, 2023.

“October is our favourite time of year on T+E, which is why we strategically moved up our free preview event to ensure millions more Canadians have access to our fright-driven Creep Week lineup,” said Craig Junner, senior vice-president of programming and content strategy for global media at Blue Ant Media, in the press release.

“We’ve cobwebbed every corner of our schedule with cult-classic scary movies, terrifying TV series premieres and new episodes of guilty pleasure paranormal programs that we know audiences love to binge.”
