Bell announces back-to-school deals exclusively for students


TORONTO – Bell is offering post secondary students a break on mobile phone and Fibe internet plans as they head back to school, the telecom announced Monday.

These offers are available exclusively to post secondary students and vary by province.

In Ontario, students can get Bell Gigabit Fibe 1.5 starting at $60 a month for the next 24 months in select areas. In Quebec, Gigabit Fibe 1.5 will cost students as little as $45 per month for 24 months in select areas. In Manitoba, New Brunswick and Newfoundland, Gigabit Fibe 1.5 starts at $70 per month for students, while the price in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island starts at $75 a month.

Bell’s mobile phone rate plan exclusive to post secondary students in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario and Atlantic Canada is $55 per month for 50 GB of full-speed data. In Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Quebec, post secondary students can get 20 GB of full-speed data for $45 per month.

Bell said it is also offering savings to everyone else as the school season approaches, including deals on smartphonesaccessories and connected things.

Some of these deals include savings on Apple iPhone 14 series smartphones, select Samsung smartphones, Google Pixel 7 series smartphones, select phone chargers and cases, Google Pixel watches and Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 or Watch 6 Classic.

Bell is also offering back-to-school savings for Bell, Virgin Plus and Lucky Mobile customers via Staples stores. Some of the exclusive offers that will be available in-store include discounts on new phones, plans and accessories, and gift-with-purchase incentives.
