MONTREAL – Bell and Staples Canada announced today a multi-year exclusive agreement where the office supplies company will house Bell, Virgin Plus, and Lucky Mobile wireless and wireline service kiosks across Canada for consumers and small businesses.
The kiosks will be featured in Staples locations, staffed by Staples sales associates, starting in late spring this year, according to a press release.
Mobile services will be available in 300 stores across the country, while Bell and Virgin Plus internet, television and home phone services will be available in the majority of Staples locations within the Bell’s wireline footprint, the release added.
The partnership is expected to add 800 full- and part-time jobs.
“We are pleased to partner with Bell, bringing together two exceptional Canadian brands to support consumers and businesses across the country,” said David Boone, CEO of Staples Canada, in the release. “In working together, we will strengthen and grow our product and services offering, creating game changing value and convenience for consumers and businesses.”
