
VANCOUVER and LOS ANGELES — OUTtv, the world’s first LGBTQ+ television network and streaming service, today announced its fall programming highlights, which include the premieres of three new OUTtv original series.
Dr. Jackie, a six-episode, half-hour comedy starring Jackie Beat (above), will premiere Monday, Sept. 19 on OUTtv and OUTtv.com, with new episodes airing weekly. The series co-stars Sherry Vine with appearances from Ben DeLa Crème, Tammie Brown, Alaska Thunderf**k, Bianca Del Rio, Alec Mapa, Kelly Mantle and Katya Zamolodchikova.
“Failed actress Jackie Beat is now Dr. Jackie, psychotherapist. Using role-playing, primal scream therapy, ink-blot tests and even puppets, Dr. Jackie helps her funny, famous and fabulous ‘friends’ navigate the rocky road of mental health,” reads a synopsis in a press release.
Also premiering Sept. 19 on OUTtv and OUTtv.com, X-Rated City: NYC (six episodes, 30 minutes each) “follows Boomer Banks, Max Konnor, Joey Mills, and Dante Colle and gives audiences an explosive and emotional window into their wild adventures through the city that never sleeps,” the release says.
Ezra (10 episodes, 15 minutes each) will premiere Saturday, Oct. 1 on OUTtv.com, with new episodes dropping weekly. “After fleeing the dark and demonic chains of his shadowy old home, Ezra, a killer gay vampire, takes a leap of faith and enters the modern world,” the release explains.
OUTtv also announced the fourth season of Camp Wannakiki will premiere Aug. 25 on OUTtv.com, and the second season of Avocado Toast will debut Sept. 9 on the streaming platform (with the full season available at launch).
In addition, the full season of Slag Wars will premiere Sept. 2 on OUTtv.com and the fourth season of Face to Face with David will debut Sept. 7 on OUTtv and OUTtv.com (new episodes available weekly).
