Corus’ Q107 and morning show host John Derringer part ways

TORONTO ROCK STATION Q107 tweeted this morning the Corus Entertainment-owned station and its long-time morning host John Derringer “have agreed to part ways, effective today.” Derringer is the subject of a complaint by former Corus employee Jennifer Valentyne, who alleged she suffered workplace harassment while working on Q107’s Derringer in the Morning show. In May, Valentyne made public she had registered a complaint with the Canadian Human Rights Commission, alleging gender discrimination, after which Corus put the morning show on hiatus pending an investigation.
