MONTREAL — Bell Media’s Noovo today released the first images from its original psychological thriller series Aller simple (One-Way Trip), which will air this winter on Noovo.
Produced by Sphère Média in collaboration with Bell Media, Aller simple was filmed deep in the forest of Wentworth, located north of Lachute, Que.
The six-part series stars Marc Beaupré, Éric Bruneau, Caroline Dhavernas, Nathalie Doummar, Anick Lemay, Rémi-Pierre Paquin, Anie Pascale, Luc Picard and Samian.
“Six people who do not know each other are invited under different pretexts to stay at the prestigious estate of a billionaire. The helicopter that must transport them is forced to make an emergency landing in the middle of nowhere,” reads an English translation of the series synopsis in a press release.
“As the group settles down to await help, mysterious accidents and disappearances follow one another. What can an ex-police officer, a religious art dealer, a retired teacher, a marketing director, a star criminal lawyer and a businesswoman have in common to find themselves trapped in this way?”
The series was written by Annie Piérard, Bernard Dansereau and Étienne Piérard-Dansereau (Épidémie, L’imposteur) and directed by Yan Lanouette Turgeon (Épidémie, L’imposteur, Les pays d’en haut IV). Josée Vallée and Sylvie Gaudreault of Sphère Média are producers of the series.
