Péladeau to give keynote at Canadian Telecom Summit


Ericsson head of sustainability and corporate responsibility for North America also set to speak

TORONTO – The Canadian Telecom Summit announced today Quebecor president and CEO Pierre Karl Péladeau will give a keynote presentation at the event being held Nov. 15-17.

“Propelled by Pierre Karl Péladeau’s vision, Quebecor has become a Canadian leader in telecommunications, news media, entertainment and culture,” a press release on the announcement says.

Péladeau will speak on Nov. 16 at 9 a.m.

Earlier this week, CTS announced Ericsson’s head of sustainability and corporate responsibility for North America, Bhushan Joshi, will also give a keynote speech at the event.

Joshi “has over 15 years of professional experience in corporate sustainability, business development, energy management, renewable energy, sustainability reporting, sustainability strategy development and program management,” a separate press release says.

He will talk about how 5G can help bridge Canada’s digital divide, among other topics.

Joshi will speak Nov. 15 at 9:15 a.m.
