TORONTO – So.da and Twitter have teamed up with American Express Canada for the second year in a row to shine a light on locally-owned businesses and the people who run them in a four-part series in support of American Express Canada’s #ShopSmall program.
The series is produced by so.da, which is part of Corus. It “sees HGTV Canada’s Sebastian Clovis meet the owners behind the businesses that are the backbone of their communities and energizes viewers to #ShopSmall,” a press release reads.
“This video series showcases the special relationship that business owners have with their communities, and it’s inspiring to see not only their passion for what they do, but the way people have come together for them,” said Lauren Dineen-Duarte, vice president of communications at American Express Canada, in the press release.
Businesses featured in the show include Cumin Kitchen (co-owner Krishna Gaudel pictured above left , with series host Clovis, right), Portland Market, Krave Coffee and Oceah Oceah.
The first two episodes of the series are available now on @AmexCanada’s Twitter handle and on the Global TV app.
