Jay Baruchel to host Canadian edition of exclusive Amazon comedy-variety series

TORONTO — Amazon Prime Video announced today Canadian actor and director Jay Baruchel (Goon, This Is the End, How to Train Your Dragon) will be the host of the new series LOL: Last One Laughing Canada, which is based on an Amazon Original series format from Japan. Produced by Insight Productions, the Canadian edition of the comedy-variety series will be shot in Toronto and feature a diverse cast of Canadian comedic actors and stand-up comedians competing to make each other laugh first.
