Noovo checks in with the Covid generation with March 12 doc

MONTREAL — Bell Media announced today its French-language Noovo channel on Friday, March 12 will air a one-hour documentary, Génération Covid, featuring conversations with school-aged children between 8 and 17 years old, which unveils the impact of Covid-19 on their lives.

Hosted by actress Ludivine Reding (above, right), this documentary paints a striking portrait of a generation which will undoubtedly be marked by the historical chapter which is shaping them and their lives, says an English translation of Bell Media’s press release.

Ludivine meets young people and those around them to discuss the impact the pandemic has on all spheres of their life. With five of the youth, she looks more closely at the themes of dropping out of school, friends, screen addiction, life at home, the future, but also hope.

Génération Covid is produced by Attraction Images, in collaboration with Bell Media, and directed by Marie-Julie Parent.

The documentary will air Friday, March 12 at 7 p.m. ET on Noovo as well as live and on-demand on Noovo.ca. A trailer of the program is available here.
