TORONTO — Blue Ant Media announced today a new one-hour documentary special exploring the global effort to find a vaccine for Covid-19 will air Friday, February 12 on Smithsonian Channel Canada as part of its nationwide free preview running until April 4.
COVID: Race Against the Virus (pictured) chronicles the first critical months of the Covid-19 outbreak from the perspective of some of the world’s leading scientific experts, virologists, modellers and immunologists as they work together to understand, treat and find a vaccine for the deadliest virus in a century.
In addition to interviews with scientists, the documentary features news footage and clips from political leaders reacting to the outbreak.
