
TORONTO and MUMBAI — Indian broadcaster Times Network, owned by India’s largest media conglomerate The Times Group, today announced its English-language business news channel ET Now (which stands for Economic Times Now) is launching on Bell Fibe TV in Ontario and Quebec through a distribution partnership with Ethnic Channels Group (ECG).
Toronto’s Nextologies will transport the ET Now signal within Canada. The channel is available on free preview on Bell Fibe TV channel 2335 beginning today until March 17, 2021.
“ET Now offers curated content such as India Development Debate, StartUp Central, The Money Show, India Tonight and more with a holistic view of the Indian financial markets and global and local trends impacting the economy,” reads the press release from ECG.
“ET Now has been a market leader in the business news category for over a decade and I am confident this launch will be an enriching addition to the discerning taste of the Indian diaspora seeking superior coverage on business and financial news,” said Jagdish Mulchandani, COO and executive president of Times Network, in the release.
