Ross Video promotes Oscar Juste to SVP of global sales

OTTAWA — Broadcast tech maker Ross Video has appointed Oscar Juste (above) to the newly created role of senior vice-president of global sales, the company announced today.

In this role, Juste will provide leadership and strategic direction to the global sales function and help drive growth as Ross continues to expand into new international regions and markets, says the press release announcing Juste’s appointment.

Juste first joined Ross Video in April 2016 as director of sales for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, and guided the region’s sales group through its most successful period ever, doubling turnover in the three years that followed, says the press release.

He was then promoted to vice-president of sales for EMEA, Asia and Latin America in May 2019, a role in which he helped to deliver a record 29th growth year for Ross.

“2020 has been an extremely tough year for everyone, and Ross has certainly not been immune to the challenges posed by the pandemic,” says Juste, in the press release. “Our entire industry has been forced to change and adapt, but Ross has weathered the storm with remarkable resilience. I’m looking forward to helping our immensely talented sales and support teams around the world as we continue proving our worth as a trusted technology partner for the long-term.”

“Oscar has very clearly demonstrated the qualities that Ross needs as we forge into new markets and continue expanding our global footprint,” says Jeff Moore, executive vice-president and chief marketing officer at Ross Video. “He has shown great determination and ambition in the face of challenging targets and has helped develop talent from within the company to move us to the next stage in our growth. I’m sure he will be a great success in this expanded role, and it will be a pleasure to see him in the office when he relocates to Canada next year.”
