
MARKHAM, Ont. — Huawei Consumer Business Group announced today five new products which further expand the company’s Canadian product portfolio.
Available for purchase today, the products include two new smartwatches, two wireless earbud products and a Wi-Fi 6 router.
“Globally, Huawei is the second largest player in smartphones and smart watches, third in tablets, and first in IoT — and we are thrilled to offer Canadians our latest tech across all these groups,” said Radek Krasny, director of marketing at Huawei Canada Consumer Business Group.
The Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro has a suggested retail price of $400 and is available in Canada in nebula gray and night black.
The Huawei Watch Fit sports smartwatch has a suggested retail price of $170 and is available in graphite black and sakura pink.
The Huawei FreeBuds Pro ($270) come in silver frost and ceramic white colours. According to Huawei, they’re the world’s first true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones to support Intelligent Dynamic Active Noise Cancellation.
The Huawei FreeBuds 3i ($170) are designed with a cone-shape to provide both style and comfort, says the Huawei press release.
The Huawei WiFi AX3 router ($200) can theoretically reach up to 3,000 Mbps speeds, with 1024-QAM and 160 MHz frequency bandwidth (574 Mbps on a 2.4 GHz band and 2,402 Mbps on a 5 GHz band), says the press release.
