
TORONTO — As the exclusive television broadcast partner of the NFL in Canada, Bell Media today announced TSN and CTV will air live coverage of the first game of the 2020 NFL season on Thursday, September 10.
Throughout the NFL season this fall, Bell Media will provide multi-platform coverage across TSN, CTV, CTV2, RDS and TSN Radio. Pre-game coverage of the season’s first game begins Thursday at 7 p.m. ET on TSN and CTV2, with Deshaun Watson and the Houston Texans taking on Patrick Mahomes and the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs. The game airs live from Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City at 8 p.m. ET on TSN and CTV.
Bell Media’s exclusive television coverage includes:
- Thursday Night Football matchups airing on TSN and CTV2, with select games on CTV in October
- Sunday 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. ET game windows — regular season games airing across multiple networks each week including CTV, CTV2 and TSN
- Sunday Night Football on TSN and CTV2
- Monday Night Football on TSN
- NFL Playoffs on TSN and CTV
- Super Bowl LV, live from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on Sunday, February 7 on CTV
TSN’s NFL coverage and analysis also features preview and wrap-up shows, including Sunday NFL Countdown, NFL Rewind, NFL Live and Monday Night Countdown.
NFL on CTV Live is CTV’s official Sunday post-game show, hosted by TSN’s Kara Wagland and football analyst Davis Sanchez. Airing immediately after CTV’s Sunday 4 p.m. ET games, the show recaps all of the day’s NFL action and leads into Sunday Night Football on TSN and CTV2.
NFL programming is also available for live streaming on CTV.ca, TSN.ca as well as the CTV and TSN apps. RDS delivers live French-language coverage throughout the 2020 NFL season.
TSN Radio stations providing live NFL game coverage include TSN Radio 690 in Montreal, TSN Radio 1200 in Ottawa, TSN Radio 1050 in Toronto, TSN Radio 1150 in Hamilton, TSN Radio 1290 in Winnipeg, TSN Radio 1260 in Edmonton and TSN 1040 in Vancouver.

In a separate announcement, SiriusXM today said it will deliver live broadcasts of every game of the NFL season, as well as new exclusive shows and in-depth 24/7 news and talk on the SiriusXM NFL Radio channel, starting with the kick-off game between the Houston Texans and the Kansas City Chiefs on September 10 at 8:20 p.m. ET.
In addition to airing nationwide on SiriusXM radios, NFL games are also available on the SiriusXM app and at home on connected devices and speakers for authenticated subscribers with the SiriusXM All Access package.
SiriusXM offers play-by-play channels dedicated to the official radio broadcasts of every NFL team, giving SiriusXM subscribers access to both the home and visiting team broadcasts for every game.
The daily programming lineup on SiriusXM NFL Radio features shows hosted by NFL experts and interviews with players, coaches and executives from around the league.
Legendary quarterback Brett Favre returns to host The SiriusXM Blitz with Brett Favre and Bruce Murray, every Tuesday (11 a.m. to noon ET), starting today. In addition, former NFL wide receiver Torrey Smith and former NFL quarterback Jordan Palmer are joining SiriusXM NFL Radio’s roster to co-host the channel’s morning show, The Opening Drive (7 a.m. to 10 a.m. ET), along with former NFL safety and veteran SiriusXM host Solomon Wilcots. The channel is also adding a new daily show, Airing It Out, hosted by SiriusXM’s Bob Papa and former coach Charlie Weis (weekdays, 10 a.m. to noon ET).
