Sportsnet to broadcast FA Women’s Super League

TORONTO – Rogers Sportsnet announced Friday it has signed a two-year agreement to broadcast Barclay’s FA Women’s Super League, the highest level of women’s pro soccer in England. Canada’s Jessie Fleming (above) will make her mark there after signing with Chelsea, the defending league champion, earlier this year. Sportsnet will broadcast 50 regular season games, plus the semifinals and finals of the Women’s FA Cup.
