
TORONTO — Anthem Sports and Entertainment announced Wednesday its Game+ network will premiere a new informative sports series, Last Stand with Brian Custer, on Tuesday, September 8.
The series is hosted by Emmy-award winning sports broadcaster Brian Custer (pictured), host of Showtime Championship Boxing and national Fox Sports play-by-play commentator for college football, basketball and boxing. Custer also co-hosts a nationally syndicated sports show on Sirius XM.
With Last Stand, Custer welcomes viewers into his world for unfiltered conversations with trailblazers and luminaries from across the sports spectrum, as they discuss their personal lives and careers, explain how they overcame challenges, and share their honest thoughts and opinions, says the release.
The series’ first season includes discussions with: former Philadelphia Eagles QB Donovan McNabb; rap pioneer, actor and mogul Ice Cube; welterweight boxing champion Errol Spence Jr.; World Series-winner and current Houston Astros manager Dusty Baker; undefeated boxing champion Terence “Bud” Crawford; and Carolina Panthers head coach Matt Rhule.
Last Stand with Brian Custer premieres on September 8 at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT on Game+. The series is being syndicated by Kantz Media.
