
TORONTO — Corus’ Global TV announced Tuesday it’s adding Drew Barrymore’s new daytime show to its fall lineup.
Hosted by the Hollywood actress, The Drew Barrymore Show will premiere on Monday, September 14 at 3 p.m. ET/PT on Global. Known for her infectious brand of humour and positivity, says a presss release, Barrymore aims to bring information, inspiration and entertainment to the daytime audience through the show’s multi-topic format. The show will feature human-interest stories, happy news, lifestyle segments and celebrity guests, says the release.
“I have spent months and months living and working in Canada over the past 30 years,” said Barrymore, in the announcement. “I’m a huge fan and I’m thrilled that we are able to bring our show there.”
The one-hour nationally syndicated daytime show is produced and distributed by CBS Television Distribution and filmed in New York City. Drew Barrymore, Chris Miller, Ember Truesdell and Jason Kurtz are executive producers. The show is distributed internationally by ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group.
