Kidoodle.TV expands partnership with Playwire

CALGARY and NEW YORK — Calgary-based kids streaming service Kidoodle.TV announced Monday it has expanded its partnership with digital advertising specialist Playwire to monetize its kids content.

Playwire’s Kids Club, the New York-based company’s suite of “kids safe” technologies, allows publishers and brands to monetize their mobile apps, streaming platforms and websites to children around the globe. The combination of Kidoodle.TV and Playwire’s Kids Club gives advertisers an opportunity to reach a massive new audience, says the news release.

Kidoodle.TV’s content — from Paw Patrol to Kidz Bop and Lego City — is watched by more than 53 million highly engaged streamers each month, says the release. With a view-through rate (VTR) exceeding 98.5% and 100% viewable/100% unskippable connected TV and mobile inventory, brands can reach not just children, but their co-viewing parents as well. Even prior to Covid-19, Kidoodle.TV found 97% of parents co-view streaming content with their child at some point.

“We’re strongly committed to safe viewing habits for kids,” said Michael Goodman, Kidoodle.TV senior vice-president of revenue, in the release, “and partnering with Playwire allows us to monetize our family-friendly audience without inappropriate or unsuitable ads compromising the family viewing experience. We’re excited to see where this expanded partnership takes us in the future.”

Since its founding, Kidoodle.TV’s quality assurance team has reviewed content to ensure safe streaming for kids. The streaming service has more than 21,000 episodes of quality shows and continues to add new content to the platform daily.

“Both of our companies have an unwavering commitment to safe streaming for all children,” said Jayson Dubin, CEO and founder of Playwire, in the release. “We are proud content creators, publishers, brands and advertisers trust our Kids Club solution because with our kidSAFE COPPA certification, they have the peace of mind that ad monetization won’t harm their brand.”

Available in more than 140 countries, Kidoodle.TV can be viewed on iOS and Android devices, Apple TV, Fire TV, LG, Samsung, Vidaa-enabled Hisense TVs, Chromecast, Roku, Amazon, connected TVs, HTML5 web and Plex.
