Alaskan company building subsea fibre network through Arctic region adds general

ANCHORAGE — U.S. Arctic subsea and terrestrial fibre network operator Quintillion is beefing up its security and defence know-how and rhetoric with the announcement retired U.S. general Charles H. Jacoby Jr. is joining its team as a senior strategic advisor. Quintillion’s current network consists of more than 1,600 miles of fibre-optic cable spanning the Alaskan Arctic.
