TORONTO — Rogers flanker brand chatr introduced today a new daily payment option called Day Pass which allows customers to continue to access talk, text and data services when they need it, for a small fee.
Day Pass is designed to give customers an affordable and flexible way to stay connected until they’re ready to make their full monthly top-up payment, explains the news release.
“Our customers want flexible and affordable options, when it comes to staying connected, and Day Pass lets them top up on their terms,” said Shailendra Gujarati, vice-president of chatr, in the news release. “At the end of the month if a customer isn’t ready to make their full monthly top-up, Day Pass is an option that keeps them connected.”
Touted by chatr as a first-of-its-kind option in Canada, Day Pass is available for $2 per day for Talk and Text plan customers and $3 per day for Talk, Text and Data plan customers. The daily service plan for Talk, Text and Data customers includes unlimited Canada-wide talk and international text and 250MB of data per day with reduced speeds thereafter. Talk and Text customers will receive unlimited Canada-wide talk and international text. Customers can continue services on a daily basis for a maximum of 30 days.
