
TORONTO — Bell Media’s CTV revealed its 2020 fall primetime schedule this morning ahead of its virtual upfront presentation this afternoon, where Bell Media will announce its original entertainment productions for its English-language services.
Adding to its comedy lineup this fall, CTV announced the new half-hour comedy B Positive will air Thursday nights. B Positive stars Thomas Middleditch and Annaleigh Ashford (pictured above), and is executive produced by Chuck Lorre (Big Bang Theory) and Marco Pennette for Warner Bros. Television and Chuck Lorre Productions. Middleditch plays a therapist and newly divorced dad who is faced with finding a kidney donor when he runs into a rough-around-the-edges woman from his past (Ashford) who volunteers her own. Together they form an unlikely bond and begin a journey that will change both of their lives.
Other new series premiering on CTV this fall include: Filthy Rich, starring Gerald McRaney and Kim Cattrall; and game show Supermarket Sweep, hosted and executive produced by comedienne and actress Leslie Jones.
Among the series returning to CTV this fall are The Good Doctor, Grey’s Anatomy, Station 19, This Is Us, The Rookie, The Masked Singer, Young Sheldon, The Conners, Bob Hearts Abishola, Jann, All Rise, Law & Order: SVU, Shark Tank, Magnum P.I., Blue Bloods, Stumptown and The Amazing Race.
CTV also confirmed today 9-1-1-: Lone Star and The Resident will return to its schedule mid-season, with details to be announced at a later date.
