MONTREAL — Bell Media’s Énergie 94.3 in Montreal today announced Philippe Bond (pictured at left) is returning to the station to co-host the new midday show, C’t’encore drôle (You’re Still Funny), with Pierre Pagé (right). Starting August 24, the show will air Monday to Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET.
“Philippe Bond’s visit with the Ça rentre au poste (It’s going back to the post) team last spring and his unique bond with listeners convinced us to bring him back on the air. After five years of absence, Phil is back on a daily basis on the radio!” said Benoît Simard, content director at Énergie 94.3, in an English translation of the news release.
Ça rentre au poste returns August 3, running Monday to Friday from 2:55 p.m. to 6 p.m. ET. The show features Maxim Martin, Marie-Claude Savard and Sébastien Trudel.
The station’s fall lineup will also include morning show Le Boost! (Monday to Friday, 5:25 a.m. to 9 a.m. ET), with hosts Philo Lirette, Kim Rusk and Olivier Martineau. François Pérusse will also be there with his “Fréquence Pérusse” capsules every 20 minutes, and the “Martineau editorials” will be heard on the 35th minute of every hour.
During the day, Julibou will continue to accompany listeners with Vos classiques au travail (Your Classics at Work), from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 1 p.m. to 3:25 p.m. ET, where she will broadcast a powerplay of 20 big classics without interruption.
In addition to his new midday show with Philippe Bond on weekdays, Pierre Pagé will remain at the microphone for Weekend Énergie (Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET), playing the classics of the ’80s and ’90s.
During the weekends, between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. ET, Énergie 94.3 will broadcast 120 minutes du peuple (120 Minutes of the People), with only the best of François Pérusse.
Finally, Mike Gauthier will remain on the Énergie 94.3 team with a show on Saturday at 9 a.m. ET, featuring 120 minutes of anecdotes about rock legends with the musical bible of Quebec.
