
TORONTO — Sports streaming service DAZN Canada announced Sunday it will air a four-episode series recapping the English Premier League 2019-20 soccer season to date, ahead of the season resuming on June 17.
The first 15-minute episode aired Sunday night at 7 p.m. ET, and looked at the rivalry between Liverpool and Manchester City. Episode two of the series goes tonight at 7 p.m. ET, followed by episode 3 on Tuesday (7 p.m. ET) and the final episode on Wednesday (11:30 a.m. ET). The Countdown: Premier League series is produced by Joe Gardiner, senior soccer producer for DAZN.
The series features revealing interviews with players, coaches and journalists, and offers never-before-seen camera angles, behind-the-scenes footage, and archived material. Athletes featured in the series include Premier League stars Willian, César Azpilicueta and Adrián, soccer legends Alan Shearer, Ian Wright and Luis Garcia, managers Jurgen Klopp, Frank Lampard and Ole Gunnar Solskjær, and renowned commentator Peter Drury.

They’ll be able to first catch up on the most significant storylines to date before tuning in to the 92 remaining EPL fixtures, starting June 17 exclusively on DAZN in Canada.”
