
TORONTO — Food Network Canada announced today its summer season of programming, which includes new and returning series and marathons of fan-favourite shows, designed to keep families entertained and inspired all summer long.
Making its Canadian broadcast premiere on Saturday, June 13 at 12 p.m. ET/PT, The Pioneer Woman: Staying Home (4 episodes x 30 minutes, pictured) is a family affair as Ree Drummond shoots a special episode with the help of her kids. While Ree’s daughters Alex and Paige and nephew Stuart film everything on their phones and her sons Bryce and Todd drop by to check things out, Ree welcomes everyone to her kitchen as she shares easy, pantry-inspired recipes during this unprecedented time.
Also premiering in Canada on June 13, at 12:30 p.m. ET/PT, Symon’s Dinner: Cooking Out (3×30) is a self-shot series, where each week, host Michael Symon starts with a popular dish then transforms it on the grill with just a few simple techniques and some dressed-up flavours.
Then during the week of June 15, Food Network Canada will present back-to-back episodes featuring the “Best of Guy Fieri”, including Guy’s Big Bite, Guy’s Grocery Games, Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, and more. Episodes will air Monday, June 15 to Thursday, June 18, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET/PT.
On Father’s Day (Sunday, June 21), Dad can celebrate with an all-day marathon of the best of grilling programming, including Fire Masters, The Grill Dads, Guy’s Grocery Games, and more.
In addition, Food Network Canada is letting viewers vote on their favourite binge-worthy series throughout the month of June for its #FanFavouriteFriday programming. Voting takes place each weekend on Twitter starting Fridays at 10 a.m. ET and ending Mondays at 10 a.m. ET. The winning series will air with back-to-back episodes the following Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET/PT.
