TORONTO — Offering Canadian viewers unprecedented access to artists and talent around the world, CTV’s Etalk announced Wednesday a new weekly music performance series, Etalk Open House, which will air in the show’s Thursday at 7 p.m. ET timeslot, starting May 28.
Each episode will feature exclusive, music performances coupled with interviews, with the artists appearing remotely from their homes, says the news release.
The series will kick off with The Killers performing their latest hit, “Caution”. Other international artists scheduled to appear include dvsn, Finneas, Jessie Reyez, Niall Horan, Shaggy, and Tones and I, with more to be announced in the coming weeks.
“Artists are now more relatable and unfiltered than ever, and Etalk Open House provides natural and authentic access to an incredible lineup of musical stars,” said Nanci MacLean, vice-president of Bell Media Studios and president of Pinewood Toronto Studios, in the news release. “While we continue to adapt to this new way of living, this weekly series delivers a positive entertainment experience from the comfort of our homes.”
Etalk Open House will air Thursdays at 7 p.m. ET on CTV and 7:30 p.m. ET on CTV2, beginning May 28.
