
MONTREAL — Music service provider Stingray announced Wednesday its subscription video-on-demand services Stingray Karaoke and Qello Concerts by Stingray are launching on Latin American video streaming service Claro Video.
Starting today, both services are available in Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Panama, Colombia and Dominican Republic. They will be launched in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay on May 4, and in Peru, Ecuador and Chile on May 7, says the news release.
“Accessing content with ease on multiple platforms has become a requirement for viewers. We are committed to building long-lasting relationships and finding new distribution opportunities that respond to Claro’s customers’ needs with our SVOD services Stingray Karaoke and Qello Concerts,” said Eric Boyko, Stingray president and CEO.
Qello features over 600-assets with concerts from the likes of Alejandro Sanz, Beyoncé, Bon Jovi, Cristian Castro, David Bowie, Eric Clapton, Juan Gabriel, Lady Gaga and others, with new concerts added monthly.
Stingray Karaoke features a catalogue of over 12,000 songs from all music genres, with new songs added every month.
