TORONTO – Calling it “a love letter to Italy and Italians,” TLN TV has put together a specially curated two-week TLN TV event which features the sights, flavours, sounds, stories and personalities of Italy.
They are grouped as follows:
Lifestyle Series – Monday to Sunday at 8 p.m. ET: The best of Italian food, travel and culture featuring TV hosts and celebrity chefs: Lidia Bastianich, David Rocco, Alex Polizzi and Gino D’Acampo.
Cinematic Masterpieces – Monday to Saturday at 9 p.m. ET: Classic and Academy Award winning films (La Grande Bellezza, To Rome With Love, Houseboat, Malèna, Cinema Paradiso, Life is Beautiful), and some of the greatest Italian contemporary filmmakers and movie stars (Tornatore, Sorrentino, Taviani, Moretti, Loren, Benigni and more).
Music Concerts – Sundays at 9 p.m. ET: Classic and contemporary performances featuring Andrea Boccelli, Il Volo, The Three Tenors and a tribute to the Maestro, Luciano Pavarotti.
