MONTREAL — To provide some comfort during this time of Covid-19, Quebecor Content and production companies Trio Orange and 1R2D are bringing a new viewing experience called Ça va bien aller (It will be fine) to Quebecor’s TVA network, starting next week.
Reassuring Quebecers that everything’s going to be okay will be actor and playwright Fabien Cloutier (pictured left), who will welcome viewers into his home for the express purpose of making them feel better, with the help of co-star Marie-Soleil Dion (pictured right), who’ll be joining in remotely from her own home, says the news release.
With the forthrightness, humour and wit that have become his trademarks, Cloutier will be chatting on a daily basis with Dion and various guests, including artists and people from all walks of life. The goal is to bring viewers together to entertain, share stories, reassure and give hope. Every guest will be connecting from home, and viewers can expect a show with no editing and no special effects, says the release.
According to the release, Ça va bien aller aims to start a social movement breaking the isolation and creating a wave of solidarity and creativity throughout Quebec society during today’s historic context.
“Given the unimaginable situation we’re going through, we quickly felt the need to take the initiative and give all Quebecers a place to turn to, so they could unwind with reassuring and entertaining people. We’ll be on the air for as long as it takes to do some good, laugh, catch up with each other, and reassure each other that we’ll get through this,” Denis Dubois, vice-president of original content for Quebecor Content, in the news release.
TVA and the show’s producers say all of the technical equipment required for this production will be installed in accordance with the government’s public health directives.
Ça va bien aller will air daily Monday to Thursday at 7 p.m. ET on TVA and TVA.ca, starting Monday, April 6.
