TORONTO — Celebrity chef and TV host David Rocco’s newest TV series, David Rocco’s Dolce Italia, will premiere exclusively on TLN Television on Sunday, March 8 at 8 p.m.
In his latest 13-episode series, Rocco returns to his beloved Italy where the people and their stories run parallel to the art, music and food of the country’s greatest cities, including Milan, Verona, Venice, Cinque Terre, Bologna and Italia’s capital Roma.
From hip, cosmopolitan Milan to Venice’s ancient water canals and down through the Eternal City of Rome, this series captures the way Italians celebrate life and live their very own dolce vita: with good food, humour, passion and spontaneity, the news release says.
Episode one, titled Lost Venice, features a city rich in tradition but facing great change as Rocco sets out to find the Venice that tourists don’t often see — a city deeply rooted in its history that’s more than just gondolas and Carnevale. An online sneak preview of the first episode is available at TLN.ca. For more information about the series, please click here.
TLN Television will air David Rocco’s Dolce Italia Sundays at 8 p.m. ET and Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET, starting with the exclusive Canadian premiere on Sunday, March 8.
