
REGINA – SaskTel is launching its maxTV Stream IPTV platform and new Internet services in 34 more rural communities.
maxTV Stream comes loaded with a selection of channels, VoD, and built-in apps for accessing Netflix and YouTube, while interNET Extended 25 and interNET Extended 50 service, with download speeds up to 25 and 50 Mbps, respectively, are the fastest rural internet packages that SaskTel has ever offered.
The provincial Crown Corp said that the services are available now in Alameda, Alida, Arcola, Bienfait, Borden, Carievale, Carlyle, Carnduff, Ceylon, Fillmore, Frobisher, Gainsborough, Glen Ewen, Hafford, Halbrite, Kenosee Lake, Kisbey, Lampman, Langham, Macoun, Manor, Minton, North Portal, Ogema, Oxbow, Pangman, Pike Lake, Prud’Homme, Radisson, Radville, Redvers, Storthoaks, Stoughton, and Vanscoy.
SaskTel added that the expansions are a direct result of its commitment to invest $321 million of capital in the province in 2019/20 and over $1.4 billion through 2018-2023.
