EDMONTON – Former WIFT-T and Corus exec Jackie Pardy is joining Super Channel as its new director of programming.

Pardy was most recently with Women in Film & Television – Toronto where she was director of development, responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships and sponsorships for the organization and its charitable arm.  Prior to that, she was director, network content, specialty and Pay TV at Corus Entertainment.

Effective May 16, she will lead Super Channel’s domestic and foreign program acquisitions for three of the network’s four channels (Fuse, Heart & Home and Vault) and oversee development and production of Super Channel’s Canadian productions.  Based in Toronto, Pardy replaces Jenny Hacker who recently left the position to pursue other opportunities.

“I am delighted to welcome Jackie to Super Channel,” said president and CEO Don McDonald, in Monday’s announcement.  “She is a seasoned industry professional with a wealth of experience in the pay television and specialty TV space and will be a fantastic addition to the Super Channel team.”
