TORONTO – CTV has pre-released the first episode of its new original comedy Jann across its digital platforms, some two weeks ahead of its TV broadcast premiere.

Jann stars Canadian singer, songwriter, broadcaster, and author Jann Arden as a fictionalized version of herself in the six-episode series that will follow “Jann’s” quest for renewed fame in the wake of a waning career, while also dealing with the obligations and pressures of her real life.

Episode one of Jann is available now on CTV.ca, CTV’s YouTube page, and Crave, plus on Bravo.ca and TheComedyNetwork.ca and their respective corresponding apps, as well as MUCH.com and MTV.ca.  The series will debut on CTV on March 20 at 8:30 PM ET/PT, and viewers may also stream the premiere on iTunes or with Crave on the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, and on CTV On Demand (set top box) with applicable TV service providers.

Canadians will also be treated to a number of digital extras for the series, including “bonus content” featured on CTV.ca and SnackableTV, and the network’s social accounts (@CTV) on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram will roll out a series of exclusive video features throughout the season.

Set and filmed in Calgary, Jann was co-developed by Bell Media and Project 10 Productions and is produced in association with Project 10 Productions and Seven24 Films.
