
TORONTO – The Canada Media Fund announced today 49 digital media projects would receive a total of $10 million in funding through two of its programs.
A total of $3.9 million will be invested in 21 projects through the second round of funding of its Experimental Stream’s Innovation Program, Prototyping and an additional $2.2 million is being invested in 10 projects through the Experimental Stream’s Innovation Program, Marketing and Promotion.
A further $3.9 million will be invested in 18 projects through the Web Series Pilot Program.
Including this round of funding, the CMF has invested over $67.2M in the prototyping of 312 innovative digital media projects since 2010, says its press release.
