OTTAWA – Gusto TV has added another OTT deal to the mix after announcing plans to launch on STIRR, a free ad-supported U.S. streaming service provided by Sinclair Broadcast Group.
STIRR rolled out in January on IOS and Android devices, Amazon FireTV, Apple TV, Roku, and online. Based on the viewer's location, STIRR offers a curated mix of local and national channels as well as a VoD library featuring news, sports, and entertainment programming.
Gusto TV said Monday that its linear streaming channel and on demand library will be available on STIRR “soon” and will include original food and cooking programming such as Cook Like a Chef, The Urban Vegetarian, One World Kitchen, Licence to Grill and Spencer’s Big 30.
“We’re looking forward to stirring things up when Gusto TV rolls out,” said Gusto Worldwide Media president and CEO Chris Knight, in the news release. “When we built the brand, our goal was always to take Gusto TV internationally. Fast forward to today and Gusto TV is global.”
