TORONTO – CTV has ordered another round of summer hit series The Amazing Race Canada.
The broadcaster said Thursday that casting for the series’ seventh season in 2019 is open now through January 2 at 11:59 PM ET. Casting details and updates for hopeful participants is available here.
CTV said that the sixth season of The Amazing Race Canada had an average audience of 1.8 million viewers per week, earning it the title of Canada’s most-watched summer series for six consecutive years.
“The Amazing Race Canada is the tent-pole series that anchors summers on CTV,” said Bell Media content and programming president Mike Cosentino, in the news release. “We are thrilled to welcome back this ratings powerhouse and award-winning production for a seventh season as casting begins and sponsorship opportunities open.”
