CTV News dives deeper in to politics with Politico Pro Canada partnership

TORONTO – CTV News is adding an extra helping of U.S. politics to its plate after teaming up with new subscription-based news service Politico Pro Canada.

Created for business leaders and policy makers, Politico Pro Canada’s exclusive coverage focuses on federal and state policies that affect bilateral economic interests and government relations.

The collaboration will kick off on Friday, October 26 with a new, co-branded weekly segment on CTV News Channel’s daily political program Power Play that will focus on Canada-U.S. issuesThe segment, called “Inside Washington with Politico Pro”, will see Politico Pro Canada reporters Alex Panetta and Lauren Gardner join CTV News Ottawa bureau chief Joyce Napier to discuss the most significant cross-border stories.  Politico will also produce a range of exclusive stories and digital content on CTVNews.ca.
