REGINA – Access Communications once again threw its support behind the Regina Food Bank at its 12th annual Labour Day Show N Shine event.

Over six thousand spectators flocked to Access Communications Community Park on Monday as 500 classic vehicles took centre stage.  Organized in partnership between Access Communications Co-operative and the Collectors Car Club of Saskatchewan, the event raised more than 560 pounds of food and $28,656 for the Regina Food Bank.

“As a community-owned co-operative, we’re proud to support local families by fighting hunger,” said Access Communications Co-operative president and CEO Jim Deane, in a statement.  “We couldn’t have asked for a better day – the whole neighbourhood was full of exhibitors and spectators.”
