QUISPAMSIS, NB – The Canadian Cable Systems Alliance has announced the winners of its Tuned-in Canada: The CCSA Awards, a national, annual competition that highlights the great work done by independent, local providers of broadband, television and telephone services across Canada.
Winners in each category were determined in two ways: 1) by the most votes received, and 2) by the most votes received per capita subscribers. Since CCSA is made up of various sized members, this system levels the playing field for all, the organization said. Votes are cast either online, or using a paper ballot system.

The winners in each category will receive $1,000 to donate to a local charity of their choice plus be celebrated at ‘Connect 2018’, CCSA’s annual conference being held in September in St. Andrew’s by the Sea, NB.
“This year was the fifth year of our contest, and to celebrate we introduced new categories and worked directly with members to help them share their stories,” said CCSA CEO Jay Thomson, in Wednesday’s announcement. “We are so pleased to see our members being recognized and supported by the communities they serve. In particular, this year we were thrilled by the submissions in the category of best photo – it’s such a pleasure to see such wonderful images of our members working to connect Canadians in their home communities.”
