OTTAWA – The 5G Canada Council (5GCC) will host its formal kick-off event Wednesday, known as the 5G Canada 2018 conference, at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa.

The inaugural confab promises series of panels and presentations that will offer different perspectives on 5G wireless networks, including the implications for governments, businesses and customers, and how 5G can ultimately transform Canada.  And Cartt.ca will be there.

Administered by the Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association (CWTA), the 5GCC is a multi-stakeholder council founded to serve as a forum to encourage a supportive and dynamic 5G ecosystem in Canada, including the efficient rollout of related technologies. Through research and cross-sector collaboration, the 5GCC pledged to work to identify the common challenges, benefits, and priorities related to the introduction, development and impact of 5G technologies across numerous industries and varied stakeholders.
