Salmon, who's departure from the CCSA was announced at its AGM in October, is now vice president of operations, responsible for leading all operational aspects of the business including warehousing, logistics, customer on-boarding, contract negotiation, human resources and Drexel’s corporate culture.

John (JD) Abram was named vice-president of sales, responsible for all sales activity for Drexel encompassing wholesale distribution, third party logistics, and the company’s DAZN over-the-top strategic partnership.  Prior to joining Drexel, Abram had a six year tenure at ZTE Canada, most recently as the VP of terminal sales, plus had 10 years in sales at Rogers.

Drexel also announced Bruce Powers as its vice-president of business intelligence and planning and Tara Salmon as CFO.

Drexel Industries is a wholesale distribution and third party logistics service provider focused on retail and telecommunications distribution and e-commerce order fulfilment.  It recently acquired mobile phone accessories and consumer electronics devices company Affinity Electronics of Canada.

"Drexel has a tremendous opportunity arising from three core pillars: the unlocked cell phone marketplace; consumer electronics; and same day/next day shipping, handling and distribution,” said president Jason Salmon, in the announcement.  "This team of seasoned leaders brings strategy, integrity, and passion to their roles and care deeply about providing exceptional customer service and enhanced delivery systems to our customers."
