SEATTLE – Amazon today announced its Prime Video app is available on Apple TV 4K and previous generations of Apple TV in over 100 countries, including Canada.

Apple TV owners around the world now have access to Amazon Original Movies and Prime Originals such as The Big Sick, The Grand Tour, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and The Tick along with upcoming premieres of a range of new movies and TV shows.

Amazon Original Series and popular movies and TV shows are available for Prime Video members to stream or download and enjoy anytime, anywhere at no additional cost to an Amazon Prime membership in Canada. Members can watch via the Prime Video app on Android and iOS phones and tablets, popular LG and Samsung Smart TVs, Android TV by Sony, Apple TV 4K and Apple TV, Sony PlayStation 3 and 4, Xbox One or online at PrimeVideo.com.

One thing Canadians can’t have access to on Prime is the NFL’s Thursday Night Football. While that is available to Prime members around the world, TNF TV rights are owned by Bell Media and digital rights are controlled by DAZN.
