
TORONTO – As hockey fans prepare for their favourite time of year, Sportsnet announced that it will ice every regular season game played by the Vancouver Canucks, Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames in the 2017-18 NHL season.
All 82 Canucks regular season games will be available on both TV and radio on Sportsnet 650. The Canucks’ broadcast schedule, featuring 36 national games and 46 regional games, gets underway with Hockey Night in Canada’s season opener on Saturday, October 7 at 7:00 PM PT / 10:00 PM ET. Sportsnet Pacific will be home to 42 of the 46 regional Canucks games this regular season, with the remaining four regional games made available to fans on Sportsnet Vancouver Hockey, the Sportsnet One companion channel.
Sportsnet’s Edmonton Oilers broadcast schedule features 37 national games and 45 regional games – for a total of all 82 Oilers games, beginning October 4 at 8:00 PM MT / 10:00 PM ET on the season’s first Scotiabank Wednesday Night Hockey. Sportsnet West will be home to 37 of the 45 regional Oilers games this season, with the additional matchups to be broadcast on Sportsnet Oilers, the Sportsnet One companion channel.
All 82 of the Calgary Flames’ regular season games will be available on TV as well as on radio with Sportsnet 960 The FAN. Sportsnet’s 2017-18 Flames TV broadcast schedule, featuring 36 national games and 46 regional games, gets underway on Wednesday, October 4, the opening night of the NHL season. Sportsnet West will be home to 37 of the 46 regional Flames matchups this season, with the additional regional broadcasts airing on the Sportsnet One companion channel, Sportsnet Flames.
All games will be streamed live on Sportsnet Now, Rogers NHL Live (formerly Rogers NHL GameCentre LIVE), and Sportsnet.ca. Availability on each streaming service is based on viewers’ subscription packages and region.
Sportsnet shares the Toronto Maple Leafs’ regional broadcast rights and will announce that slate of games in the coming weeks. Its national NHL broadcast schedule was unveiled in June.
