SCTE•ISBE’s online courses have been designed in partnership with the operator community to enable members of the cable technical workforce to advance their careers, while minimizing impact on day-to-day operations, reads the news release. Courses are designed to prepare workforce members for every aspect of cable technical operations, from legacy technologies to such recent additions as mobility and cybersecurity.
“Through alliances with organizations within and outside of the industry, we’re leveraging SCTE•ISBE programs to drive real benefits for the cable telecommunications community,” said SCTE•ISBE president and CEO Mark Dzuban, in the release. “Our partnership with NCTC will enable positive outcomes for NCTC members via educational resources that have been developed in direct collaboration with the operator community, and that have been proven to improve service quality, increase subscriber satisfaction, and generate value.”
