PRINCE RUPERT – Over the next three months, municipally owned carrier CityWest will be working in downtown Terrace, expanding its fibre-based services, the company said today.

“This work is the continuation of our plan to keep investing in Terrace,” said Chris Marett, CEO of CityWest, in the release. The work “will improve our technology to ensure our customers get a great experience now, and for many years into the future.”

The most recent work is another step in the improvements that Prince Rupert-based CityWest continues to undertake. In January, the company launched Quantum 125, its fastest Internet product – and over the last 10 years, the company has invested over $50 million in capital improvements in Northern B.C., touts the release.

CityWest provides Internet, TV, and phone services to over 15,000 local residences and businesses in Prince Rupert, Terrace, Kitimat, and Smithers, B.C.
