VANCOUVER – Sportsnet has inked a new, five-year agreement with the Vancouver Canucks that will see all of the team's games air on Rogers radio beginning with the 2017/18 NHL season.

The new deal means that Sportsnet has locked up all 82 Canucks games, and pledged to make them available live on TV, radio, Sportsnet Now, and Rogers NHL GameCentre Live.

“We have incredibly strong radio brands in the Vancouver market, and we are excited to build on our premium content with the acquisition of the Canucks games,” said Rogers Media Radio SVP Julie Adam, in the news release.  “As we’ve seen with our Sportsnet radio stations in Calgary and Toronto, there is a strong appetite for live game coverage and top-tier sports content.”

Details about the Vancouver Canucks radio broadcasts will be announced at a later date.
