TORONTO – Blue Ant Media’s Cottage Life is welcoming the first signs of spring with an eight-week free preview event during March and April.
As part of the event, audiences nationally will enjoy free access to the premiere of the second season of original series Brojects: In The House on March 14 at 10:00 PM ET/PT, which follows Canadian brothers Kevin and Andrew Buckles (pictured) in the transformation of their century-old lodge into a clubhouse.
Rolling out simultaneously with the series, three new webisodes, available on Cottagelife.com/brojects, will give Brojects fans three extra zany projects from the DIY duo, including a hubcap shuffleboard game, a chainsaw-powered wooden lathe and a wireless speaker retrofitted from a retro record player. Additionally, viewers will be able to catch up on the first season of Brojects: In The House on CottageLife.com
Other upcoming new series on Cottage Life include Escape to the Wild, airing Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT, which takes viewers abroad to meet families who have given up their urban lives to live in remote destinations around the world; Chasing Monsters, premiering on March 28 at 8:00 PM ET/PT, which promises a close-up look at colossal underwater creatures living in the hidden depths of Earth’s oceans, lakes and rivers; and Dream Gardens, premiering on March 18 at 9:00 PM ET/PT, which showcases some of Australia’s most lavish and magnificent gardens.
“Cottage Life is giving Canadians a head start on the cottage season with a free television preview event that will give millions of viewers access to new, exclusive programming on the channel,” said Blue Ant Media’s Canadian networks EVP Jamie Schouela, in the news release. “Spring is also the perfect season to roll out a new season of our original series, Brojects: In The House, as well as a slate of brand new, exclusive programming our viewers will love.”
Cottage Life audiences will be able meet the Brojects themselves at the Spring Cottage Life Show at the International Centre in Mississauga, ON from March 31 to April 2. The Edmonton Cottage Life and Cabin Show will take place at Edmonton’s EXPO Centre from April 28 to April 30.
