
TORONTO – Sports rivals TSN and Sportsnet are readying their multi-platform coverage of Wednesday’s NHL trade deadline day activity.
Sportsnet is promising 13.5 hours of coverage across its television, radio, digital, and social platforms. The channel’s Hockey Central Trade Deadline show, which begins at 8:00 AM ET/5:00 AM PT on March 1, will be also streamed live with Sportsnet Now. In the U.S, NHL Network will simulcast Sportsnet’s trade deadline coverage from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM ET.
Hockey fans may also listen to radio stations Sportsnet 590 The Fan (Toronto) and Sportsnet 960 The Fan (Calgary), and follow various Sportsnet’s personalities on Twitter.
TSN will offer its 10 hour-long show, Tradecentre, which will also be available online at TSN.ca and the TSN Go app. It also debuts at 8:00 AM ET/5:00 AM PT on Wednesday, and promises special guests such as the stickhandling stars of the CraveTV original series Letterkenny.
In addition, TSN Radio locally in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Ottawa, Edmonton and Hamilton will feature deadline day coverage. TSN’s official social media platforms will also keep fans in the #TradeCentre loop.
